The fundamental process of steel casting is to pour liquid steel into heavy iron ingot molds. These molds have thick walls and are supported by stools made of iron. Once the shell has formed, liquid steel is poured into the ingot. Once the core is cooled, the process of welding and finishing begins. A good-sized shell is then formed. The resulting metal is then shaped into the final product. In many cases, the steel is used for a wide range of purposes, including construction and mechanical applications.

The molten steel is poured into a mold. A cooling plate traps gas bubbles inside the solidifying ingot. The ingot is then removed from the furnace by tilting it and being poured into a transfer vessel. The entire process is repeated until the metal is ready for use. Then, the furnace is turned off, and the furnace is ready for a new charge cycle.

After melting, the steel is cooled to its final temperature. It is then poured into a mold to be forged. The final step of steel casting is the cooling of the metal. A cooled molten metal sample is sent for analysis after the final pouring. The temperature of the molten steel is controlled to maintain a constant flow through the mold.
