Material Test
During the investment casting process, material testing is crucial in ensuring that the finished product meets the required specifications. At KEMING MACHINERY, we use a spectrometer to precisely test the chemical composition of the investment casting materials. This technology accurately tests each element of the metal, and we compare the results with the material standards. If the values are within the acceptable range, we consider the material qualified. This process is called chemical analysis.
To ensure the veracity of the material certification provided by the factory, we conduct a chemical analysis of a small piece before each batch of metal ingot is used. We also inspect the molten metal before pouring and conduct testing on the completed samples. The spectrometer analysis results are compiled into a material report that shows the standard material composition and the tested element values. This report is provided to our customers with their samples to ensure transparency. During mass production, each batch of investment castings passes chemical analysis to guarantee quality.
